This monument pedestal in a park in Sofia, Bulgaria was found sans the effigy of Georgi Dimitrov – the Bulgarian Communist Dictator who used to occupy the spot. Since the communist platform espoused ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE a temporal monument to the people at this spot seemed appropriate. I asked some friends to work with me and created a set of stairs for easy access, cleaned graffiti from the monument, laid flowers and made a plaque to the Bulgarian people. This alteration presented passers by with photo opportunities.
